Okay, so you hate going to the gym and you don't like spending money on buying exercise equipment. But you still want to work out and build strength and muscle. Try pushups. Do lots of them.

Let us discuss about the benefits of 200 pushups a day. Try this only for a couple of months and you will be surprised to see the results. Do you know that pushups are incorporated even in the military training camps of all countries? Well, this is such a powerful exercise and the easiest exercise.

To try this, don't start with 200 pushups on the first day. First, start with warming up exercises and then do 10 -15 pushups on the first day. Take a day gap and then try doing 35 pushups in the next session. Also Read: What Raw Foods Do To Your Body? When you are comfortable, gradually increase the number till you reach a stage where you can do 200 a day. But remember that every alternate day is your rest day where you don't perform any exercise.

In The First Week

Your muscles start gaining some size. Particularly, your chest and triceps show improvement. Your strength increases and your confidence levels get a boost.

In The Second Week

Your endurance levels increase once you reach the stage of doing 60-100 pushups a day. This is the time you get in tune with the workout.

In The Third Week

Your balancing skills improve a lot and this is when you feel you have mastered the form and movements of a pushup.

In The Fourth Week

Your metabolism gets a boost and your fat burning abilities enhance. You will worry less about your calorie intake during this period as you will have the confidence to burn all those calories with your workouts.

In The Fifth Week

Your physique improves a bit and your friends will start asking you whether your have joined a gym.

In The Sixth Week

Your ability to push yourself beyond 150-200 pushups would increase. This is when you will feel that pushups are a kids play for you.

In The Seventh Week

Your body gets toned, strength increases, your shape gets better and your muscles look almost like a regular gym rat (though the size doesn't be equal to someone who lifts weights). But you can look shredded if you continue this for as long as possible. Show Thumbnail

Ads that are increasingly intrusive undermine an otherwise very good app. Showing the ads is fine but ads that play loud music and delay the "x" to escape when you're simply not interested, risk irritating rather than informing. (e.g. the casino ad'). I'm sticking with this app - for now - but hoping the app providers get more considerate about the ads.

It keeps track of the number of pushups you do as you perform them! Though, if you do a workout and not have the app count the pushups you have to press over and over to get the number you want. Also, professionals are capable enough to do easily more than 200 pushups. Still a pretty good app. :)

  3. guest-avatar

Great way of tracking your efforts and see how far you've developed. Really helps you push your boundaries and strive to do more each day. Good idea to press the button with your nose, so you cant cheat and not do a full press to the floor but count it anyway...unless you pack up your phone, but your only cheating yourself.

  4. guest-avatar

The app is great for what it does. The only problem and i mean literally the only problem is the freaking ads that pop up on the actual work out screen. Ill be doing a push up and my nose will tap the ad and leave the app. Its super frustrating but overall the app is the bomb.

  5. guest-avatar

Exactly what it says it is. You can either touch the screen or get really close to it for it to register each push up. Useful way to measure whether your press ups are proper ones and how many you've actually done 😂. Also you can track your progress which is great

  6. guest-avatar

Nice simple but annoying placement of ads in the push up counter you often hit them with your nose then have to get out of the push up position to get back to the app please place the ads at the bottom instead of top of the screen.

  7. guest-avatar

Excellent. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Simple, clean, intuitive design. On occasion, my face has hit the ads on the screen and opened them mid-workout. Not a huge deal or regular occurrence. Highly recommended.

  8. guest-avatar

Although the app is great, every once in a while my push-up counter will go down resulting my placement to increase. Yesterday I had 430 push-ups but now I have 395. Can this be fixed?

Prior to app, I was having trouble keeping count of sets and counts. Now, that problem is gone. Replaced with a meter which tells me how close I am to my 100 pushup goal.

  10. guest-avatar

Its really cool, but when you need to touch the screen with your head or just be near it, then i focuss more on the phone then the push ups:)))

  11. guest-avatar

Very good app forces me to do the required pushups.giving 4 stars only because it doesn't have a calendar log and also it should have informatory videos of different types of pushups like pike, daimond, finger etc.rest this app is simple but awesome👍👍👍

  12. guest-avatar

Great app. I love being able to see the meter go up every time I do a push up. Started out with 100 a day I'm up to 200 and it's been a few days. Amazing app

  13. guest-avatar

Worked for what my needs are. Would have given a better review if I could have linked friends to it but that feature just doesn't work for me or my friends.

  14. guest-avatar

great app for nudging me forward. i use my nose on the bottom of the pressup to increase the counter. works a treat!

  15. guest-avatar

    Christopher Rucker

Great way to keep track of your workout, without having to memorize your progress!

  16. guest-avatar

Pretty sure this app is a battery killing add machine. The app works, but the ads are a pain in the ass and disruptive.

  17. guest-avatar

brilliant app. already showing and only doing 200 a day been doing it for a week. no faults at all. good work.

  18. guest-avatar

Great app. Even if you do a few extra because of the counting mechanism.

  19. guest-avatar

This app is good that the number of pushups start of low then gradually goes higher as the weeks go on so I'm happy!😃

  20. guest-avatar

an "award" isn't an ad! updated 6/7/19: "awards" aren't ads! lol.
