This is the usual Solitaire card game. Also known as Patience Klondike or Windows Solitaire.

Taking a shuffled standard 52-card deck of playing cards (without Jokers), one upturned card is dealt on the left of the playing area, then six downturned cards (from left to right). On top of the downturned cards, an upturned card is dealt on the left-most downturned pile, and downturned cards on the rest until all piles have an upturned card. The piles should look like the figure to the right.

The four foundations (light rectangles in the upper right of the figure) are built up by suit from Ace (low in this game) to King, and the tableau piles can be built down by alternate colors, and partial or complete piles can be moved if they are built down by alternate colors also. Any empty piles can be filled with a King or a pile of cards with a King. The point of the game is to build up a stack of cards starting with 2 and ending with King, all of the same suit. Once this is accomplished, the goal is to move this to a foundation, where the player has previously placed the Ace of that suit. Once the player has done this, they will have "finished" that suit- the goal being, of course, to finish all suits, at which time the player will have won.

This game has many options :
- Normal / Landscape mode
- Auto-save
- French / English card images
- large / normal size cards
- dealing cards 3 by 3, or 1 by 1

Great game!!! Great graphics! The only solitaire game that I found (so far) where the "cards" look like actual playing cards! Great artwork! The only thing is, in an actual deck of cards the eight of hearts, eight of clubs and eight of spades have four symbols on each side (bet I'm the only one who noticed that!). It would be nice if there were a link from the app to rate the app. . . Do you know how many Solitaire games there are on the Store? It doesn't display right in landscape mode.

A smooth, clean, elegant solitaire game that offers the classic Bicycle Playing Cards design on both the back and the face sides, a feature I especially appreciate. Others might find the numbers a bit small to read on a phone screen. But there are plenty of options available to choose the decks and backgrounds. Solid, worthwhile app.

02/25/21: There are so many things about this game, some oddities, that no one else mentioned, so I'll just say y'all decide for yourself. Since I'm the only one, I'll accept that maybe it's just me, and rate it 3*s. Gonna uninstall. Best to all.

After 6,000+ wins, I'm still enjoying the heck out of this game. The graphics are good, the motion/play is great, and the setup is flexible enough to allow me to play the way that I like to.

Great game to play when you need the distraction from waiting....lines, lobbies, waiting rooms, commercials.

I enjoy this game in quiet moments. It keeps my mind active, and always presents me with varying levels of difficulty.

Fast moving. Lose a lot more often than win.
