    I bought the book but app works better; being able to listen and see people with the same problem and receive vocal direction on how to mediate. It is hard for me stay present and focus. I have been trying for years with other books and CDs. I don't make time for my self to continue. I have 2 fears that are trying to overtake me. I admire Dan and his story. I feel like I know him even though he is famous we both have the same need to deescalate stress, anxiety and be present.

    During the pandemic I downloaded the Ten Percent Happier app for free since I am an essential worker. I was a beginner meditater and the app really helped me get through the most difficult time in my life (working through the pandemic). The app expired one year later and I really missed it and my meditation practice wasn't the same. I subscribed because I want to continue my practice and this app helps me stay on track and teaches me. I am grateful for the free year. Thank you Dan and the team!

    Meditation isn't a silver bullet, but this app changed my life for the better. I wish I had this insight much earlier in life. If you're reading this and have young children, teach them about mindfulness/meditation as you learn. You're giving them a great starting point you didn't have.

    Great app. I wanted to move from simple relaxation techniques to meditation and had been recommended Joseph Goldstein, who has contributed a number of courses to the app. I picked this app because he was there and have not regretted it at all. There are range of skillful meditation teachers from who I have continued to learn and develop from.

    recently purchased the app after completing the Ted Lasso Challenge. I enjoyed the course, and I freqently listen to the podcast, so I decided to subscribe. I'm rating it four stars instead of five, because I think it would be better to have the option to favorite an entire course rather than individual sessions within a course. For now, I'll favorite the first session in a course for those I want to take in the future.

    Update! I've been using this app DAILY since early February 2020. I love all of it -- the courses, singles, sleep, talks, and now the podcast! Before discovering 10%, I was an infrequent and 'failed' meditator. Now, each morning, I can't wait to sit down and give myself the gift of guided meditation. I haven't missed a day. So grateful 🙏 Am I happier? Being aware and mindful of my thoughts and beliefs has helped me shift perspective and, yes, I'm at least 9% happier. 🥰

    It touches on various subjects including stress, fears, anxieties, and stepping into new experiences. However, some of the meditations seem like they didn't provide the full scope of the meditation but instead a sample. Perhaps if they had Moreno n depth versions of everyediyation one could choose to do a deep dive or simply dip our perverbial toes in the water. Also, because of the overwhelming stress of the pandemic, their should be a newofule dealing with this kind of stress.

    Good experience. I've been mainly doing the Ted Lasso challenge. Meditations are very good, and leaves me with a lot to think about. I'm not sure if I will be able to pay for the app once my 7 day trial is up - which is in 2 days, I think. That makes me sad, but I will just do what I can. Thank you.

    Great app and exercises. It would be nice to have an option to manually add or record meditation time for metrics when a self-guided meditation is desired. Otherwise, the experience has been exceptional.

    Really love this app! As someone who has attempted and failed many many times over the years to establish a meditation practice, this finally got through to me. Its a combination of Dan Harris' funny, practical approach and the amazing teachers. For me, this is totally worth the investment.
