I bought a yearly subscription last year, but the service is so hit or miss, i cannot recommend it anymore. I have been able to purchase tickets in the past, but for the last three months, any attempt to purchase an advance ticket is met with an "Unknown Error". i used to be able to purchase tickets through the cinema's app, which due to member rewards, had no fees. They took away that option two months ago. Their new options: pay thr fees, or buy a physical card (equal to 10 tickets worth)!

Do not subscribe, unless you don't mind throwing money away. The app worked once, for the first ticket purchase. It will not allow any more purchases. The following message occurs when trying to authorize a ticket, "An unknown error has occurred please try again later" you are asked to purchase the ticket using "Atom", "Movietickets", or "Other ticket selling channel", none of these work. I paid for the year upfront, seemed like a good deal. They charge an extra $1.50 per ticket.

I loved this service after I moved on from MoviePass last year. I even like how your unused movie can roll over to the next month. Unfortunately the passed 2 weekends that I've tried to use the app. I keep getting the, "An unknown error occurred. Please try again later!", message that everyone seems to be getting now. I've even been trying the app all weekend just to see if it would work at sometime. I emailed customer service yesterday and they haven't given me a response yet. Disappointing.

Just paid for a subscription this morning. Terrible user experience with Android app - it is not at all clear or intuitive what you should do to get a ticket. Worst of all, there's no indication before you sign up that you can't start watching movies right away, unless you pay an extra $10 expedited fee to activate your account. This is bait and switch, dishonest. You have to wait 1 or 2 weeks before your account is activated. The app implied that you can go to the theater to check in. I wasted half an hour driving to the theater. This may turn out to be a good deal, once i start using it, but the dishonest marketing and bad user experience with app is what warrants the 1 star.

Originally, it was a great app, and it performed the exact task I needed to. However, over the last several weeks, typically during periods when users most want to go see movies (the weekends) it has been giving an "unknown error has occurred" and not letting anyone select a service to pick a ticket online. This feels very much like movie pass did right before it essentially went out of business.

Absolutely awful customer service. Nonexistent! There is no phone number or chat function to reach them if you are having trouble buying an online advance ticket through the app, which I have experienced several times already. (Even Moviepass had a chat function!!) You can only email them, and they will respond on their own time and not even address the correct issue--which may be days later after the showing you intended to see has already passed. On top of that they still charged me the processing for the advance tickets even though I couldn't complete the transaction. Stay away from this app! No wonder the FTC is investigating this company and a class action lawsuit has already started.

I wish I hadnt gotten an annual subscription. It used to work like a charm until February. From March, I haven't been able to watch a single movie because of the "Unknown error" that keeps popping up when I select service. I cleared cache, cleared all storage data, uninstalled, and installed back again, but nothing changed. Customer service is of no help. Noone replies to your emails. You're better off getting monthly subscription, use it until it works and then cancel it when it doesn't.

After my 1st month, I was never able to buy tickets using this app. It would always say error with card. Worst thing is there is no proper channel to communicate any issues! You wouldn't get any response ever. After I submit a ticket, I have to wait for weeks for them to respond, that too only after multiple reminders through social media posts and comments.. Even after that, the response would be blunt, without any information regarding the issue.. I would never recommend this app. After all this fuss, I wasn't even able to close my membership! This is TOTAL FRAUD!! don't take it EVER

I got a subscription for 1 year for me and my wife. It was working fine for a couple of months, then they add this processing fee (1.80$ for each ticket) out of nowhere. So I have been paying more then I was told when I got the subscription. Now I cannot even get my tickets anymore, they released an update few days ago (just before the Captain Marvel weekend release) and I keep getting an "Unknown error" when I try to get my advance tickets.

Rip off! I bought the unlimited package for the $70 sale price (I didn't pay extra to get the immediate activation). Once I got the notice that my subscription was available, I immediately tried to use the app. Well, even though I'm signed in, the app doesn't recognize my subscription. So, I tried accessing it online. While this access point acknowledges my membership the shows that are available on the app are suddenly unavailable online. I emailed customer service weeks ago, no response.
