Works great for me. One of the only readers that I have seen that work with nesting folders. Only feature request I would love to make is a reading list feature. If you have some books that are part of a crossover, that would make it a lot easier to navigate them.

They incorporated every possible feature to address every possible scenario & format that a viewer would need to handle + the ability to switch modes on the fly. They even had the audacity to trust & allow the user to tweak the UI for a unique hand-in-glove fit. I hope & pray that they make a video player app soon (please🥺🙏). 10 out of 5 stars! 👍😁👍

I have been using perfect viewer for years...no other ap that I know allows me to read my comic files as if they were actual books. My favorite is to jump from folder to folder looking at the covers of each book. The interface is easy to use and easy to make persoal adaptations.

This app is ridiculously confusing to even get started. By all means if you want to spend 3 hours attempting to find and read your comics on a tablet then this is your app. Good luck. Hey developers: go back to school. You suck

Perfect Viewer is a good comic viewer its been around for years for a good reason. The only really disappointing thing about it is that it doesn't use a newer version of SMB thus I have to either use a 3rd party file explorer app to get to my library or enable legacy SMB on my server which would open it to security flaws. This is the main reason I don't use it anymore. I'd gladly update my rating to 5 stars and resume using it as my go to comic reader if they were to add an updated version of SMB.

It still needs a bit of work in its claimed functions. The option of holding your finger down on one comic and selecting the page viewer for right to left or left to right does not work. EDIT: Need to set in Preferences 'Reading Direction per Book' and THEN change reading direction before opening for function to work. Changed to 4 stars, for the fact that I had to figure this out. Honestly, the function SHOULDN'T show as an option if you still need to check a setting first. Still good.

this app "just works" immediately upon installation, and has a very intuitive interface. unlike pretty much all similar apps, you can also customize everything to exactly what you want. it takes a lot of time to configure. but it is well worth it. the app is free, no strings attached or even prompts to donate, but it's good enough software that I've donated three times to support the developers for creating an app that makes good on the name.

Works great. I may be missing something though. I can choose open file and open and read any of the comics on my sd. But i can't select my sd card for being my bookshelf, wich makes it a bit of a pain. I've read chromebooks are odd with apps accessing SD cards and the dev has to enable the different pathway that chromebooks have to get to SD. What's strange is I can open them, so perfect viewer can see the comic, just not in the bookshelf menu.
