Good app, but it's missing features, lacks consistent development, and is awful with audio/visual media. I've been using Feedly for years now, and I can say that this is a good reader. Were it not for a few points it would be five stars. No notifications: Updates to feeds must be checked manually. The media player is very minimalistic and prone to crashing the app. This is a terrible reader for podcasts. Very little development. I've seen few major updates, and bug fixes are few and far between.

I reead the first review from the person being tracked by Google all those steps you went through are unnecessary go to > settings > Google Service & Preference > & Disable Adds & Tracking... You can even go a step further by going straight to the source the companies Google uses for add tracking & disable it there as well u won't get personalized results in web searches anymore but it's a small price to pay you and everyone else should consider it a small price 2 reset advertisin ID 2.

Just found out the app is tracking me through Google. I have my phone as buttoned down with no permissions as I can, locations turned off etc. I Installed the DuckDuckGo app tracker and Feedly is the only one of my 100 apps so far that has showed a track, it was when I tapped on a headline to read the summary, didn't even open the article. For MAIN STREAM MEDIA it's okay. But as I find myself consuming less and less of that because of their lockstep narrative, I am finding fewer and fewer feeds I can add. Substack is behind paywall. I would pay $3/mo to be able to add some other sites (not all are RSS feedable so wouldn't be a one stop solution anyway even if i paid for it). But not $72/year.

I'm three days late from updating this review, but it turns out that the very day I wrote a two-star review that was disappointed in my being unable to log in on my Pixel 6, the Feedly team pushed out an update to fix the bug. I've always enjoyed this app, and now I'm incredibly impressed with the team.

Ads now? Really? After so long without? Gfy. Also no dark reading mode. Even msft edge has that. Do better. Nobody wants your reading bot... Just make a good news feed experience!

It's hard to find the font size setting, and it doesn't match default setting. Deep links to other applications don't work.

The Feedly site annoyingly has the back button set to not let you leave the site without closing out the tab. This is a solidly 1 star feature.

New embedded ads makes this RSS reader unusable. Use only if you like ads everywhere and sections of articles in white.
